hello, everyone! how is your May so far?

i promised myself to post my thoughts on Hell Followed with Us by Andrew Joseph White this month, and so here it is! i hope you will like it and give the book a chance! also, i am trying a review format, wherein i just highlight the parts of the book that piqued my attention and elaborate my thoughts on them, which i am pretty sure i did in the past. however, this is a brief version, as i do not want to force myself to write long reviews. furthermore, thank you NetGalley and publisher for the ARC!

HAPPY PRIDE, EVERYONE! how are you?

this is my very first audiobook, and what a life-changing experience. frankly, there are a lot of perks audiobooks have to offer. my most favorite is that you can multitask. like, when i was listening and scrolling through twitter as the same time. or doing the dishes and the laundry. love it! although at first, it felt strange, but i got used to it and that is more important. if you have some audiobook recs, please comment them below!

from the title of this post, this is a book review of These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong, which I really love! i admit, it almost gave me a heart attack when I read the last chapter, still i am so happy to be alive in this generation and read such masterpiece. also, the format of this review is a bit different from my usual, thus i’m hoping i’ll do a great job at it. finally, this is a review of a finished copy, not an ARC, finally!
